Course Objective

At the end of this course, it is aimed that the students learn the change / transformation that occurred in the "classical order" of the Ottoman Empire and the effects of this change / transformation to political, economic and social structure.

1   Identify the main lines of "Classical Period"
2   Discuss the stagnation and recession theories and how these theories came out and developed
3   Explain the change in the structure of the Court
4   Explain the change in Kul System
5   Explain the change in the Grooming and provincial system
