Course Objective

At the end of this course, it is aimed that the students learn the central organization and bureaucracy of the Ottoman Empire.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Discuss the resources of Ottoman System.
2   Explain the laws of Fatih.
3   Discuss the general structure of the palace and the functions of Harem and Enderun here.
4   Explain Kapıkulu System and its place in the janissary imperial organization system.
5   Write Council and its functions.
