Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students learn culture and civilization consisted after the Turks adopted Islam, in this context political equilibrium reconstructed and political developments experienced

1   Explain the process of Turks accepting Islam and its cultural reflections.
2   Summarize the political activities of muslim Turks out of anatolia between 10th and 15th centuries.
3   Recognize the cultural institutions and civilization muslim Turks created.
4   Compare the cultural institutions and civilization in Turkish-Islamic states.
5   Explain the relations and cultural interaction of Turks with other Islamic societies.
