Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students to know about the political, social and cultural lives of the civilizations founded in Pre-Asia, Mesopotamia, Egypt and Iran starting from the formation of the World.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the concept of Ancient times.
2   Differentiate the features that form Ancient times.
3   Write important events and cases, dates, people names and place names.
4   Tell the political, social and cultural structure in Pre-Asia civilizations.
5   Compare the developments and interactions in different civilizations.
6   Comment on the effects of Ancient civilizations to the next periods.
