Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to understand what the method of philosophy with children is and to have the ability to be a facilitator in philosophy sessions with children.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning about diverse methodologies of P4C
2   Demonstrate understanding of the rules and process of P4C sessions
3   Understand the nature of a philosophical question and a philosophical discussion
4   Be able to practice/facilitate at least 2 P4C sessions with preschool children
