Course Objective

The aim is to help prospective teachers develop skills in planning, presenting, managing student interaction, providing feedback, and evaluating the instructional process through microteaching practices. By experiencing the fundamental components of mathematics teaching in small-scale classroom settings, prospective teachers are expected to be better prepared and more equipped for the teaching profession.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Prepares an effective mathematics lesson plan and identifies strategies aligned with instructional objectives.
2   Delivers the lesson effectively during the microteaching process and manages classroom communication.
3   Develops and implements questions aimed at deeply understanding student thinking.
4   Provides and receives structured feedback on instructional practices.
5   Improves the teaching process through observation, evaluation, and reflection.
