Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop students' critical and analytical thinking skills; to enable them to comprehend and use different techniques for critical and analytical thinking; to gain the ability to solve real life problems by thinking critically and analytically.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the concepts of thinking skillsanalytical thinking, critical thinking, qualified thinking and philosophical thinking.
2   Know the basic features and criteria of critical and analytical thinking
3   Know and applies critical and analytical thinking techniques.
4   Comprehend the factors affecting critical and analytical thinking and its scope.
5   Know the obstacles in front of critical and analytical thinking.

The success of the student is determined by the grade to be obtained from the midterm and final exams of the course. Apart from this, there is no special evaluation criterion.
