Course Objective

The aim of this course is to better understand the dental assistant profession by observing and practicing alongside dentists and dental assistants in the clinics we have designated. It involves learning how to prepare the treatment area before and after the procedure, learning communication with patients and staff, becoming familiar with the materials used in treatment, and learning how to assist the dentist using the four-handed dentistry principle.

1   Gaining skills through on-site practical activities
2   Acquiring the ability to plan work in designated practice areas
3   Gaining practical experience in designated practice areas
4   Being able to perform the duties of a dental health technician in different clinics of dental departments
5   Acquiring the ability to solve complex, unforeseen problems encountered in practical applications related to the field
6   Developing the ability to relate the lessons learned to practical applications
7   Ability to set up the relationship
