Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach and educate the students who are going on oral and dental health program to have anatomical structure of human head and neck.

Week Subject Description
1 1st week: Introduction to anatomy
2 2nd week: Anatomical terms and concepts
3 3rd week: Cell, tissue, organ, system
4 4th week: Neurocranium bones
5 5th week: Facial bones
6 6th week: The anatomy of skull cavities and cervical vertebrae
7 7th week: Chewing muscles, mimic muscles
8 8th week: Midterm exam
9 9th week: Neck muscles
10 10th week: Head and neck glandular structures
11 11th week: Head and Neck artery and vein structures
12 12th week: Cranial nerves
13 13th week: Head and neck nerves
14 14th week: Repeat of topics
