Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the ethical principles of TDP and APA for the profession of psychology and to ensure the integratation of the ethical rules and principles and students' professional identity. Ethical dilemmas in clinical psychology will be mostly examined and decision making process for ethical dilemmas will be reviewed by giving various case studies. In summary, ethical regulations in our country and international area will be examined.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to be aware of ethical problems on various administrations and activities of clinical psychology
2   Able to comprehend area-specific ethical principles and rules
3   Able to adapt area-relevant ethical principles and rules to various conditions and examples
4   Able to produce efficient solutions by correct decisions for ethical dilemmas
5   Able to make efficient plans and solutions with ethical awareness for possible nex conditions in near future
6   Able to get knowledge about the ethical principles which is published by the Turkish Psychological Association
