Course Objective

Teaching the working principles, equipment and application areas of advanced melting welding methods, solid state advanced welding methods and welding robots.

Teaching the metallurgical properties of weld areas obtained by advanced welding methods.

1   Can explain the working principles of advanced welding methods.
2   Can compare advanced welding methods with each other and with conventional welding methods.
3   Can explain the metallurgical properties of weld areas obtained by advanced welding methods.
4   Can explain the stages of manufacturing using advanced welding methods.
5   Can explain the selection criteria of advanced welding methods.
6   Can explain important terms in welding manufacturing performed with welding robots.
7   Can give examples of application areas of advanced welding methods.
