Course Objective

The aim of this course is to design the welded constructions used in different fields and to teach welding planning

3   To be able to make suitable material selection and calculations for construction
4   To be able to determine appropriate welding methods for welded fabrication
5   Learning about assembly work and safety factor

3 Design concept, components of design, stages of design, idea formation, shaping, sample design study
4 Welded construction design study in drawing program-I
5 The importance of safety and reliability in design
6 Welded construction design study-II in drawing program
7 Material selection suitable for construction
8 Midterm
9 Welded construction design work in drawing program-III
10 Selection of appropriate welding technique in construction processes

14 Strength calculations and problem solutions in welded parts
