Course Objective

The aim of the course is to demonstrate the importance of the biological diversity and the status of systematics among the other biology branches. To state the general properties and morphologies of amphibians and reptiles, systematic status and relationship between people.

1 The origin of amphibians, body structure, digestive system, nutrition, respiratory, circulatory excretory system, nervous system, reproductive biology
2 Systematic and phylogeny of amphibians, systematic status of amphibian species found in Türkiye
3 Morphological, ecological, biological characteristics and distribution pattern of urodelans
4 Morphological, ecological, biological characteristics and distribution pattern of anurans
5 The origin of reptiles, body structure, digestive system, nutrition, respiratory, circulatory excretory system, nervous system, reproductive biology
6 Systematic and phylogeny of reptiles
7 Morphological, ecological, biological characteristics and distribution pattern of turtle and tortoise families (Emydidae, Geoemydidae, Testudinidae, Chelonidae ve Trionychidae) distributed in Türkiye
8 General repetition
9 Morphological, ecological, biological characteristics and distribution pattern of lizard families (Gekkonidae, Agamidae, Chameolentidae, Anguidae, Varanidae) distributed in Türkiye
