Course Objective

This course aims to demonstrate the problems faced by special groups in religious tourism, to offer a solution to facilitate and increase the participation of special groups to the religious tourism and to teach the methods of creating an accessible religious tourism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire detailed knowledge on special groups in tourism and generate ideas to provide better services to special groups.
2   Recognize all aspects of accessible tourism and understand its benefits.
3   Become more sensitive and aware individuals about special groups and develop strategies in accessibility.
4   Identify practices by which accessibility of the special groups can be augmented

Assessment Criteria

Midterm: It will measure levels of students to extrapolate using knowledge acquired.
Assignment /Presentation: It will assess levels of students to make a comment, discuss and offer solution with a holistic approach and capabilities to transfer their knowledge.
Final Exam: It will measure level of students to correlate the concepts discussed during the course, to evaluate and discuss causality and relationships and to propose solutions.
