Course Objective

The objective of the course is to assess the direction of development of policies and strategies which are based to administrative and legislative harmonization studies of Türkiye, as a country of the Council of Europe and a country desiring to become a member of the European Union, about disaster administration and to analyze the effects of these strategies to today applications.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn fundamental thought of disaster administration policies in the European Union.
2   To learn legislation and administrative responsibilities in the Europe Union harmonization works.
3   To see deficits of Türkiye by examining the issues relating to Union Acquis.
4   To learn cooperation models between European Union and the other related international institutions on disaster administration.
5   To learn best practices about disaster administration in the member countires of European Union.
