Course Objective

It is purposed students to gain analytical thinking with lecturing fundamental concepts of mathematics, to learn how to use mathematics for the business problems with examples, and to increase developing solution abilities for future business problems.

2   Construct and calculate business problems by the way of mathematics
3   Explain the constructed problem
4   Develop a solution for possible future cases with mathematical thinking.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

It's important for students to attend class and review lessons after the course. During or after the lessons, the examples are solved and homework is given to the students after school if it's necessary.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

1. Midterm Exam: The midterm exam covers the topics in the course content (40%).
2. Final Exam: The exam will cover all the topics in the course content. Students are also responsible for the Q&A exercises in the course (60%).

Assessment Criteria

Mid-term exam and final exam grades, and class attendance are effective.
