Course Objective

To gain an analytical and critical sociological perspective regarding the Social Structure and its basic concepts. To examine and evaluate the social structure and features of Turkish socio-culture from past to present.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to analyze social structure and concepts and view the subject from a sociology perspective.
2   To gain the ability to interpret the social structure and the social events on it within the framework of the studied sociologists and theories and will be able to look in a critical dimension.
3   To gain scientific competence in enlightening social structure problems.
4   To think interdisciplinary about the social structure and be equipped sociologically.
5   To develop research projects, perspectives, concepts and acquire scientific competence to understand, explain and base on how scientific structure is formed.
