Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of strategic significance of production and operations, and how these may aid companies to develop competitive advantage in the marketplace. Accordingly, the objective of the course is to help students understand the relationships between production and operations and other business functions, and develop a perspective on designing and managing operations by focusing on fundamental concepts and terminology used in production and operations management including inventory management, layout design, and service operations. |
