Course Objective

The main purpose of the course is the analysis of logistics activities in the energy sector took place in three stages (upstream, midstream, downstream).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Examination of the logistics processes during the exploration and production of energy
2   Examination of the logistics processes during the transportation and storage of energy.
3   Examination of the logistics operations during the distribution and marketing of energy.
4   Evaluation of primary (crude oil, natural gas, coal) and secondary (electric) energy sources in the perspective of 'supply chain management' in terms of road, sea, air and pipeline transport.
5   Students are informed about the latest developments and Türkiye's strategic location within the framework of the energy logistics.
