Course Objective

The course aims to introcude learners to gain an understanding of the law and economics underpinning the legal regulation of competition. The course also aims to utilize the standard tools of economic analysis for the study of law and legal institutions, with special focus on economics of competition.

1   Recognize the role of economic reasoning in the legal system
2   Understand the interaction between economics and law in the decision making process
3   Recognize the general economic rationale underlying the competition law
