Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide an introduction and overview of concepts and analytical techniques related to corporate finance, analysis of the finance functions, investments and financial decisions.

Assessment Criteria

1. The learner will prepare short-term and long-term financial plans.
2. The learner will identify the performance of a company through ratio analysis.
3. The learner will clearly identify short-term financial management and net working capital.
4. The learner will apply time value of money techniques to calculate asset values.
5. The learner will apply basic valuation models to stocks and bonds.
