Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine functions of logistics, to investigate processes of planning and controlling in logistics management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to define the concept of logistics and logistics management
2   Students will learn about the concept of logistics management and its changes throughout the process
3   Students will be able to describe different logistics activities and logistics business flow
4   Students will learn about different types of transportation and how they are used
5   Students will be able to define the supply chain and its elements
6   Students will learn about international commerce terms (INCOTERMS)
