Course Objective

It is aimed to explain tumor angiogenesis and tumor vascular structure, which play a critical role in the process of carcinogenesis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the micro-environment's effect on tumoral formation stages.
2   To know the mechanism of angiogenesis step in the process of carcinogenesis.
3   Know tumor vascular structure.
4   Know angiogenic factors.
5   Gain knowledge about the role of anti-angiogenic therapies in cancer treatment.
6   Gain knowledge about hypoxic microenvironment and metastasis.
