Course Objective

In this course, public sphere will be discussed as a concept and from a theoretical perspective. State, public opinion, media, women, politics, civil society and the city will be discussed with the concept of public sphere in the historical process.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They acquire basic information about the Concept of Public Sphere.
2   Learns theories regarding the Concept of Public Sphere.
3   Gains a critical perspective regarding the concept.
4   Gains a perspective that can handle public sphere discussions together with other fields.
