Course Objective

Myths will be introduced. Myths, grabbed its place in folklore.Introduce the definition of the type and epic, epicformation, propagation areas and understand the passage ofwriting. Turkish epics showing sources of Islam, is to facilitate the examination of pre-formed by taking the Turkish epics. Introducevariations of the type of legend and myth.

10 Epics of pre-Islamic Turks, Alp Er Tunga and Su Epics
11 Epics of pre-Islamic Turks, Oguz Kagan

14 The differences between the epic type with the story
