Course Objective

In survival analysis censored variable concept, survival analysis on the period of special risk and risk ratio concepts, life table survival analysis, Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, comparative survival analysis, univariate methods, , multivariate methods in survival analysis , other multivariate methods in cancer research, multi-regression, logistic regression, ANOVA, MANOVA, Sensitivity-specificity analysis, analysis of ROC curves, advanced ecological analysis, geographic information systems

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to perform works within the framework of the ethical rules in the field of cancer epidemiology.
2   . Be able to apply basic statistical methods specific to cancer research.
3   Capable of taking of records of objective data suitable for statistical analysis.
4   Knows special statistical methods.
5   Be able to statistically evaluate the literature studies and criticizes them
6   Thesis, as well as other activities related to cancer epidemiology, plans, implements, and the author presents and converts it for publication.
