Course Objective

It is to consider philosophers and their thoughts chronologically with a argumentative way.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the importance of Ancient Philosophy before systematic philosophers
2   Recognize the systematic thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle
3   Establishing a relationship between the collapse of philosophy in ancient Greece, the darkness of the Middle Ages, the transition of scientific thought and leadership in philosophy to the Arab-Islamic society, and the contributions of the Turks to this process (Farabi and Ibn Sina)
4   To conduct a study analyzing the Islamic world and Europe
5   To conduct a study analyzing the Islamic world and Europe and to interpret philosophical thought in the Renaissance and Modern Age.
6   Applying critical thinking methods using important thinkers such as Kant, Hegel, and Schopenhauer
