Course Objective

To make students understand the formation of political concepts historically and philosophically.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the terms related to political philosophy
2   Interpret the effects of political concepts on the basis of thinkers in Ancient Greece, Rome and the Middle Ages.
3   Comparing the views of classical and modern political philosophers
4   Analyzing the effects of social events such as the Enlightenment and the French Revolution on political philosophy.
