Course Objective

To understand the position of women in modern societies and to examime the reflections of this position in the sphere of culture, politics, economy and etc.

1   to understand the importance of gender as an area of
2   to understand the theoretical approaches to the position of women in modern societies
3   to understand where women stay in the distribution of power in the fields of economy, politics and so on
4   to understand how and why women have been taking outside of history writing
5   to analyze the representation of women in media
6   to understand the centrality of women in the social change and transformation
