Course Objective

The course focuses on the sociological analysis of the phenomenon of work. The change the work has undergone in the historical process; It will be discussed with its social, economic, political and cultural dimensions. Work relations in Türkiye will be analyzed with their historical and social dimensions.The main purpose is to conduct field research within the framework of current problems related to the study.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The study aims to explain the sociological meanings of the concept.
2   To be able to explain the changes that work has undergone in the historical and social process.
3   To be able to analyze the impact of the globalization process on working life and relationships.
4   To be able to analyze the dynamics of Türkiye's working life based on historical sections.
5   To be able to examine current problems related to working life in Türkiye with a group field research assignment.
