Course Objective

This is the course that fluid mechanics and dynamics, basic electronics, computing techniques, static and dynamic characteristics, heart sounds and murmurar the transducers and chemical biosensors, hemodynamics, blood pressure and blood flovan calculations, biomedical materials and catheterization

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Static and dynamic characteristics of the measuring system. Electrical theory (Ohm's Law, capacitance): bio-electric potential (electrocardiogram, elektroensefelogram)
2 Bio-electrodes: electrode-electrolyte interface, polarization, potential monitoring electrodes
3 Biyosensing elements: enzyme-based biosensors, antibody-based biosensor-s, Nucleic acid-based biosensors, cell-based biosensors
4 transducers: transduction, signal acquisition; Heat transfer; conduction, convection, radiation
5 Biophysical perception (hand) electrodes (surface electrodes, micro-electrodes). Mechanical transducers: pressure, flovan.
6 Fluid dynamics; "Shear stress" and stress, viscosity, Poiseuille's law, Reynold's number.
7 Biyotransport: fluid compartments, con-centration, pressure, body pH, diffusion (self-diffusion, facilitated diffusion and active diffusion and transport), Ozmosis: osmolarity, tonicity, osmotic pressure, osmolar-meters, membrane transport
8 Midterm exams
9 Hemodynamics, blood pressure and blood flovan calculations, are heart sounds and murmurs.
10 ECG, cardiac catheterization.
11 Medical and diagnostic imaging tech-nologies to: the properties of light, electromagnetic spectrum, electromagnetic (EM) wave energy, the production of EM radiation
12 Matter-radiation interaction: EM wave absorption, scattering of EM waves, image transfer
13 Views of the basics; image acquisition, digitization of images, rekonsrüksiyo 3D image, the image quality
14 X-ray, fluoroscopy, DSA, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound (echocardiography, doppler flow transducers), blood pressure monitors, magnetic resonance (MRA, MRI), positron emission tomography (PET).
