Course Objective

This course aims to introduce the production techniques in ancient ceramics, the development of these techniques and the decorations on ceramic products.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to understand the technique of making terracotta products.
2   2. To be able to distinguish between production techniques periodically.
3   3. Learning the priming and painting techniques of ceramic vessels.
4   4. To be able to establish a connection between the understanding of decoration on ceramic products and the social life of antiquity.
