Course Objective |
The first floating vessels and ships encountered in maritime history will be examined based on archaeological data up to the 5th century BCE. Within the scope of the course, ship examples belonging to different civilizations in the Mediterranean will be comparatively analyzed. Additionally, historical perspectives on maritime peoples and colonization movements will be addressed. |
