Course Objective |
Today, in the field of occupational health and safety, despite the achievements, there is a picture that reminds us of the industrial revolution years. The aim of the course is to analyze this picture in terms of social politics. The protection of employees against occupational accidents and diseases is a fundamental element of social justice. However, occupational accidents and occupational diseases cause death of more than 2.3 million workers every year. Prevention of occupational accidents and diseases requires a determined effort. With prevention, the risk can be avoided or eliminated. Otherwise, workers, businesses and the country as a whole will suffer. |
