Course Objective

The objective of this course is to make the philosophical analysis of a concept (as an example, freedom) by the means of cinema movies which focus on that concept and to investigate the relationship between cinema and philosophy by using movies, directors and philosophers.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to define the concepts, questions and problems of philosophy by the means of movies,
2   Able to analyze the concepts, questiosn and problems of philosophy by the means of movies
3   Able to signify his/her own conceptual analysis both in written and verbal,
4   Able to develop gained philosophical knowledge in accordance with personal or team studies,
5   Able to develop innovative ideas in the context of philosophy of cinema.
