Course Objective

In this lesson, the students learn underground excavation methods and mechanization, the filling, water disposal, underground transport systems, signaling and monitoring techniques

1   able to understand the concept and methods of excavation.
2   able to understand mechanized excavation machines for mine developments
3   able to understand mechanized excavation and machines at underground coal mining
4   able to understand and design discontinuous and continuous underground transport systems
5   able to design compressed air network

It is calculated by taking 40% average grade of homeworks, 60% of the final exam success rating.
