Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students the ways of identifying, formulating, solving and analyzing the geometry-motion relation in mechanical systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Compares the concepts of mechanism and machine. 2   Explains the degree of freedom. 3   Finds the degrees of freedom of mechanisms. 4   Makes vector analysis of mechanisms. 5   Can make position and speed analysis. 6   Defines the basic mechanisms in machines. 7   Analyzes the basic mechanisms in work machines.
