Course Objective

The aim of this lecture is to know the calibration, basic principles of measurement and measuring equipments and types of errors.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the basic principles of measurement and measuring equipments.
2   Knows the necessary fields of measuring for the health and safety of workplace.
3   Follow the technologic improvements in respect of measuring equipments.
4   Knows the units used for measurements and make calculations with them.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Success evaluation is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam.

Assessment Criteria

With midterm exam and final exam, students' level of understanding of learning outcomes will be evaluated.
