To comprehend the meaning, function, legal character and direct applicability of the European Convention on Human Rights in comparative constitutional law

2 2. The basic values and general framework of the ECHR
3 3. The direct applicable nature of the ECHR
4 4. The constitutional character of the ECHR
5 5. The constitutional, legislative and supra-legislative status of the ECHR in the domestic legal orders
6 6. The entegration of the ECHR into the national law: The British model of detailed statutory incorporation
7 7. The entegration of the ECHR into the national law: The Dutch model of constitutional recognition
8 8. Midterm exam
9 9. The entegration of the ECHR into the national law: The Belgian model of judicial adoption
10 10. The entegration of the ECHR into the national law: The German model of basic statutory incorporation
11 11. The Conventionality review of laws: French and Belgian cases
12 12. Transnational constitutional aspects of the ECHR
13 13. Case-Law of the ECtHR and the supra-national separation of powers
14 14. The supra-national constitutional aspects of the ECHR in light of the landmark decisions of national supreme courts
