Course Objective

Nuclear medicine technicians, diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine departments open radiation protection and radiation safety of the use of radioactive sources the provision of the learning.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Running while trying to open radioactive sources, the patient and the environment from radiation Explain how to protect.
2   Describe the function and importance of the area and the staff dosimetry
3   How to secure radioactive waste and the importance of breeding explain
4   Explain the concepts of radiation dosimetry
5   Define the biological effects of radiation
6   The standards and the prevention of nuclear medicine applications regulations apply.
7   Masters current regulations regarding radiation protection.
