Course Objective

The course aims to offer a detailed insight on the business practices and traditions across the American continent. Southern and northern business cultures and their respective institutions, practices, as well as current developments will be visited throughout the course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Show a clear and detailed understanding of the differing business traditions in South and North America;
2   On a comparative basis, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of institutional mechanisms of economic and business environment across the American continent;
3   Analyse the current business and economic developments in and around the American continent, with particular respect to their impact on global economy.
