Course Objective

The objective of Turkish Language Course is to enable the comprehension of the structural and operational features of Turkish; and to enable the acquisition of the proper and fine use of the language which is a means of written and spoken expression.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to use Turkish correctly, fluently and effectively in writing and talking.
2   To be able to distinguish the use of words and sentences with different semantic features.
3   To be able to recognize, distinguish and produce different types of written expression.
4   To be able to recognize and distinguish different types of oral expression, making oral presentations.
5   To be able to explain the important examples of written and oral expression types in Turkish literary history.
6   To be able to prevent, distinguish and correct errors that may be made in written and oral expression.
