Course Objective |
The main focus of this course is to introduce basic concepts and principles of experimental method and scientific approach. This course will examine the features of observational, correlational, and experimental methods; ethical issues in research; and how to read and write research reports. Furthermore, this course will focus on how these experimental methods are used in different areas such as cognitive, social and developmental psychology. |

Assessment Criteria |
A midterm and a final exam will be conducted. There will be open-ended questions in the levels of information, comprehension, analysis, interpretation and synthesis for all exams. |
