Course Objective

The aim of this course is to present research processes including choosing the problem, data gathering, data analysing and interpreting the results; to review the basic fresearch methods such as survey, interview and observation.

1   Identifying the basic concepts and terms of social research
2   Knowing the scientific methods used in social research
3   Acquiring the skills required for conducting a aocial research such as finding research problem, forming the hypothesis, conceptualization, operationalization, measurement, data gathering

6   Interpreting the research results and reporting
