Course Objective

To intended teach the applications of cardiorespiratory system involvement and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy in special patient groups (diabetes mellitus, peripheral artery disease, rheumatic diseases, obesity, deep vein thrombosis, scoliosis) for student.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the implications and approaches for cardiopulmonary physiotherapy in diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, obesity, scoliosis and rheumatic diseases..
2   Knows the implications and approaches for cardiopulmonary physiotherapy in spinal cord injury.
3   Knows the implications and approaches for cardiopulmonary physiotherapy in peripheral arterial disease and venous diseases .
4   Knows the implications and approaches for cardiopulmonary physiotherapy in bronchial asthma.
5   Know and apply approaches to exercise geriatric individuals
6   Can communicate with the patient and family, can provide information about physiotherapy to patient and family.
