Course Objective

The course s aim is to teach cardiopulmonary exercise tests, protocols, practice areas, interpret and discuss the interventions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student knows the cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
2   Student makes evaluation of ventilatory and cardiac responses and hold records in exercise testings.
3   Student makes decision of ventilatory and cardiac responses in exercise testings.
4   Student can choose special and individual exercise protocol and student can make exercise testing.
5   Student can make exercise plan with results of exercise testing.

5 Planning exercise testing
6 Planning cardiopulmonary exercise testing
7 Exercise testing for cardiovascular diseases, exercise testing for pulmonary hypertesion
8 Exercise testing during airway obstruction, exercise testing during respiratory lung diseases
9 Different diagnosis during exercise intolerance, gender differences during exercise
10 Cardiopulmonary exercise testing for geriatric population, cardiopulmonary exercise testing for obesity
11 Exercise testing for elite aerobic athletes, the role of cardiopulmonary exercise testing
12 Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, place for the exercise
13 Exercise during high altitude, exercise during hot and cold
14 Literature review and discussion.
15 FINAL EXAM
