Course Objective

To learn the main ideas of the leading philosophers and thinkers of the twentieth and twentyfirst centuries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student masters the main views of the philosophers of contemporary philosophy.
2   The student masters the main works of the philosophers of contemporary philosophy.
3   The student can discuss and compare the views of philosophers of contemporary philosophy.
4   Based on the views of contemporary philosophers, the student can give various answers to the problems of thought in the contemporary period.
5   Students can develop solutions to the problems they encounter in their daily life based on the thoughts of contemporary thinkers.
6   The student can express these problems philosophically by observing the problems that have not been thought about yet.
7   The student can answer contemporary philosophical problems based on the views of previous philosophers.
8   The student can propose new solutions to the new problems of the contemporary period.
9   The student can develop new solutions by discussing the solution proposals brought to the new problems of the contemporary period.
10   The student can make contributions to the contemporary philosophy by devoloping his/her own ideas.
