Course Objective

This course is aimed at students; In addition to basic maritime and sailing training programs, it aims to promote, develop and disseminate sailing sport. It is not only about sailing, but also about making awareness and teaching about marine culture, nature lover and environmental awareness.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn general concepts on sailing and sea navigation.
2   To provide basic sailing training.
3   To show the importance of safety and the ways of choosing appropriate equipment.
4   Classification of sailing boats.
5   Tekne hakimiyeti , yelken seyri ve manevra bilgileri tanımlamak.
