Course Objective

The purpose of the basic gymnastics includes; to apply to warm-up and stretching movements , to learn the basic stance positions ,ann to apply basic gymnastic movements .It also includes learning about gymnastics branches.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the basic body postures and positions, being able to use the space.
2   To classify important.techniques and methods in basic gymnastics training.
3   To do basic gymnastics movements
4   To create gymnastics routines, to create coordination between music and and body movements and manipulative abilities
5   To be able to develop biomotor skills in children and to prepare lesson plans.

Course Contents

1 General information about the sport of gymnastics, information about the activities of national and international gymnastics federations
2 Warm up, movement concepts
3 Basic movement skills, basic gymnastic poses
4 Cascading techniques, forms of assistance
5 Relocation movements, animal walks
6 Balancing movements (bending, stretching, falling, getting up, etc.), body grip Somersaults with different type Turning flips forward and backward
7 Object control gestures (throwing, holding, etc.)
8 Basic rhythm training, studies with musical accompaniment
9 Development of biomotor skills in children and lesson plan preparation
10 Forward and backward tumble
11 Tumbles with open leg
12 Handstand and movements through handstand
13 Preparing a gymnastics lesson
14 Preparing a gymnastics lesson
