Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to provide a deep knowledge of central concepts, theories, and methodologies about the relationships between social world and person. It focuses on human behavior and the organization of the society guided by the assumption that human behavior is shaped by the groups to which person belongs and the social forces external to person. This course examines its history, essential concepts, major theories, research methods, and applications that exemplify the sociological way of thinking and analysis. It presents an opportunity to understand usefulness of sociological imagination in making sense of everyday life and to apply it to the social world. |
